How we do our esoteric acupuncture treatments at Thornbury Apothecary?

Julie, our practitioner uses thin needles that are often retained for longer and inserted into the body more superficially than with traditional acupuncture needles.  The points are inserted in a specific pattern depending on the energy of the person or the energy pattern being applied to bring the body into harmony.

What is esoteric acupuncture?

The term esoteric acupuncture is broken into a few sections. The first is the understanding of the world esoteric, which means ‘a knowing’ and the second is the term acupuncture. Acupuncture comes from the latin word ‘acus’ means needle or obelisk. In esoteric teachings, obelisk can also mean a temple. Puncture means to pierce. Therefore, we are piercing your “temple” (your physical body) to activate or to reach the knowing within you.

This Heart Centre is the field that opens up infinite possibilities for your journey on planet Earth. We are interested in raising the vibrations of your Heart Center and to connect this centre with all your denser frequency fields of consciousness including: your dense physical, etheric, astral and mental fields, plus accessing and activating the buddhic, atomic, monadic and logic fields of consciousness. The possibility exists for some of you to access solar, galactic and cosmic consciousness with repeated Esoteric Acupuncture treatments, Inner Stillness Meditation and/or other frequency alignments.

How do people feel after a treatment?

Everyone finds the Esoteric Acupuncture experience differently. Some people feeling more drawn within, almost meditative and relaxed. Some clients are more sensitive and release emotions stored in their body either by crying, going to the toilet more or chatting more than usual. It really depends on how you as an individual shifts that stored energy. We recommend after your session to return home and relax with a green tea or another time of decaf tea and remove stimulus so that you benefit wholeheartedly from your session.

How can esoteric acupuncture benefit you?
