Blue Lotus (Lily) Tea (50g)

A$26.00
sold out

The alluring ingredients of our blue lotus (Lily) tea for the modern age, once favoured by royalty is now popularised for spiritual enlightenment and its calming properties.

Ingredients: Blue Lotus (lily) Flower, buds and petals.

Benefit of blue lotus flowers, petals and buds:

The blue lotus (lily) flower is abundant in flavonoids such as quercetin, kaempferol, myricetin, and flavonols, which show some antioxidant activity. Because of this, Ayurvedic medicine commonly used blue lotus (lily) to treat diarrhea, fevers, urinary problems, and heart palpitations.

Other chemical compounds found are apomorphine which is a psychoactive compound that stimulates serotonin receptors and parts of the brain influenced by dopamine. Nuciferine, another compound, blocks excessive dopamine receptor stimulation, serving as an anxiety reliever and sleep aid.

Relaxant: may help in calming the mind which in turns calms your moods, for those looking to reduce anxiety and stress in their daily life.

Digestive Health: may soothe digestive discomfort, the compounds in Blue Lotus (lily) may alleviate symptoms.

Antioxidants: Blue Lotus (lily) has antioxidants which may help binding to free radicals as a natural defense.

Brewing: 1tsp per 250ml of hot water, let it stand for 8 - 10 mins with a dash of honey or a slice of citrus.

Sourced: Egypt, organically sourced

Caffeine: NIL

Storage: away from odors in a cool dry place.

**All packaging is made in Australia or locally. Bags are biodegradable with a cornstarch film window. Remove tin top and recycle. Labels are printed on 100% recycled paper with plant-based ink**
