What to expect after a Chakra Healing session

What is Chakra Healing?

Chakra Balancing or Healing is a practice rooted in various Eastern Healing and Spiritual traditions. The term "chakra" refers to energy centres in the body, and the concept of chakra healing is based on the belief that these energy centres play a crucial role in maintaining physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being. So, Chakra Healing involves aligning the body’s energy centres, A.K.A Chakras, to promote physical, mental and spiritual well being. This can be achieved through the use of:

  • Reiki

  • Chanting

  • Breathing Exercises

  • Meditation

  • Sound Healing

What you can expect after a session varies from person to person, and depends largely on the methods used, individual experiences and in which Chakras the imbalances occur.  Some people report feeling deeply relaxed and peaceful, while others may feel energised and invigorated.

Many people also report feeling more balanced and centred after a session, with a greater sense of clarity and focus. They may feel more connected to their emotions and more in touch with their body, as well as experiencing an overall sense of well-being.

Here are some things you might expect after a session:

  • Increased Energy or alternatively a Deep Sense of Calm as the balanced chakras promote a flow of energy through the body.

  • Mental Clarity: You may find it easier to focus, make decisions and solve problems.

  • Emotional Stability: Stress, anxiety, mood swings, may dissipate as you’re aided to reach “emotional equilibrium”.

  • Enhanced Creativity: Some report an increase in creative inspiration and expression as blockages are removed.

  • Improved Relationships: You may find it easier to connect, communicate, empathise and practise patience with others, enhancing your relationships.

Blockages in Chakras can often be linked to emotional issues, disturbances and trauma. It is important to note that with the clearing of these blockages you may experience emotional releases, fragility and sensory heightening. We suggest drinking plenty of water, taking time to rest and being gentle with yourself as you allow the healing work to integrate.

While Chakra balancing should not replace medical treatment, it may also support physical health. Trauma, chronic stress, and physical and energetic stagnation can contribute to various health issues which Chakra healing may assist with by promoting relaxation and relieving muscle tension, therefore boosting the immune system.
