A calling — to gather, to plant, to seal what is waking in us.

The spring equinox is a turning. Light returns. The earth begins its softening. In so many traditions, it is the time we ask what we are ready to grow — not force, but invite. To sit together, to place living things in a jar of our own tending, and to name what we are calling in for the season ahead.

We'll gather for three hours in the quiet of Thornbury Apothecary. Together we'll build our own terrariums — each one a small living world — and infuse them with our intentions for what is asking to be planted.

You'll leave with something alive — a keepsake of glass and green and quiet knowing — to hold in your home as the season turns.

The full moon that evening will hold what we've made.

The making: Your own living terrariumWe'll build together — glass, moss, soil, living things.All materials provided. You'll take home a small world of your own tending, sealed with your intention for the season.
